Background
GetYourGuide is a Berlin-based online travel agency and online marketplace for tour guides and excursions. It is accessible via website and mobile app for iOS and Android. GetYourGuide's sells tours and excursions, activities including cooking classes, and tickets to many tourist attractions.
As we were all working on different initiatives, the design team felt the need of updating a core component to increase design consistency across the journey: activity cards.
My role
I was the lead product designer responsible for the Search and Discovery experience in all platforms (desktop, mobile web, and native apps) which consisted in a collaboration with the core team, responsible for the Design System and broader components such as the activity cards. I've supported the core team on designing the new activity cards, as they were part of the holistic Search and Discovery experience.
