Background
OLX Group is a global online marketplace owned by Naspers, one of the largest internet and media group. The Motors marketplace product teams are based in Portugal, Poland, and Romania, under 3 different brands: Standvirtual, Otomoto, and Autovit.ro.
I was responsible for driving the design and strategy for a new design vision for the OLX Motors Marketplace products, aiming to solve problems in the search experience, and improving the design process and consistency.
My role
I had the opportunity to work with all the steps of the design process, to be the main source of truth of information and design topics. End-to- end leadership and ownership. I have collaborated with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders (CS and Sales/Marketing).

Problems
#1: Search, filters, alerts and saved search don’t have a good experience.
#2: The car ad detail page has not enough information to make users contact the seller, despite their interest in the vehicle.
#3: Inconsistency across the different products. Lack of a shared library within the design team.
Based on more than 2k feedback from NPS/CSAT and Apps reviews between September and December 2018, plus PT Customer Journey, PL Customer Journey, Autovit Brand Tracking, CS Users feedback.
